More details of Brazilian band Cansei de Ser Sexy’s second album Donkey have been revealed.

A free download of the song Rat Is Dead (Rage) can be found on their site. The album, released on 21 July, is the follow-up to 2006’s CSS. The band are headlining the Park Stage at this years Glastonbury Festival, as well as playing Reading and Leeds.

Pop-punk band Hit The Lights have revealed information about their 2nd album Skip School, Start Fights. The album will be released on 8 July and the album is the follow-up to 2006’s This Is a Stick Up… Don’t Make It a Murder. The album will be the first album since guitarist Nick Thompson took on vocal duties. The album art can be viewed at AbsolutePunk.net.

Former Beach Boy Brian Wilson will release his first album in four years in September. The album That Lucky Old Sun is a concept album about his childhood. The album will be his first original material since 2004’s Gettin’ in Over My Head.

Pop-rock band Weezer have announced that the UK version of their sixth album, known as The Red Album, will have 2 bonus tracks - a cover of Talk Talk’s Life is What You Make It and The Band’s The Weight. These tracks differ from the 4 tracks on the deluxe edition of the US verson. The UK digital release on the 9 June, while the CD is arriving a week later on the 16.

Shoegaze band My Bloody Valentine are reissuing albums Isn’t Anything and Loveless, with the latter featuring a 2nd CD with a new version of the album mastered from the original analogue tapes.

Post-hardcore band Finch have announced that they are self-releasing a new EP around 15 July. It will be recorded when they return to the US following their current UK tour.

Reunited early-90s rock icons Extreme have announced that their first album in 13 years will be entitled Saudades de Rock, and the band will be doing a US tour this summer before embarking on a European tour.

US rock band Manchester Orchestra have announced a new EP/DVD entitled Let My Pride Be What’s Left Behind. UK release date has not yet been announced, but it’s scheduled to be released in the Autumn in the US.

The DVD will contain a documentary, music videos and more, while the EP will feature 4 new songs and 3 live/alternative version.

The album art to The Offspring’s 8th studio album Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace can be seen at Punknews.org. The album is the follow-up to 2003’s Splinter, and is released in the UK on 16 June.

The release date of Weezer’s forthcoming self-titled 6th album has been moved forward. The Red Album’s UK release date is now 9 June digitally, and the CD will be released on the 16 June. The US will get the album first on the 3 June.

Although not stated, the change in release date is likely to be due to the previously reported leak of 8 tracks from the album.

British post-hardcore band Gallows have announced that they’ve began to work on the followup to their 2006 debut album Orchestra of Wolves. The band will be playing Zoo8, Underage, Unleashed Fest and Reading/Leeds and have said they may play new material during their festival appearances.

Funeral for a Friend have revealed that the first song from their forthcoming self-released album will be called Waterfront Dance Club. They are asking fans in Greater London to be extras in their forthcoming video on their MySpace.

English IDM duo Autechre will be releasing Quaristice.Quadrange.ep.ae, alternate versions of songs that appeared on their 9th album Quaristice and its bonus disc. The digital-exclusive songs will initially be exclusively drip-fed to Warp Record’s bleep.com, but will later be released to other online retailers in four-track bundles.

Details are still being drip-fed about Beck’s 10th studio album and now we finally have a title. The album will be called Modern Guilt. As we previously reported, the album is 10 tracks long, is produced by DJ Dangermouse with backing vocals by Cat Power. It is likely to be released in June.

Electronica duo Ratatat have revealed the tracklisting to their forthcoming album entitled LP3, the followup to their 2006 album Classics. They have also announced that the B-Side from recent 7″ single Shiller will be appearing on follow-up to that album LP4 on the single’s sleeve.
