Everyone’s favourite hippie-fest Latitude Festival has announced more acts including Nada Surf - read more for the full list of additions. The festival takes place between 17-20 July in Henham Park, Suffolk.

The video to Weezer’s Pork and Beans can be seen on YouTube. The song is the first single from their self-titled forthcoming album known as The Red Album to be released on 16 June in the UK after a digital release on the 9th.
A few new bands have been revealed for this years Reading and Leeds Festival. Plain White Ts and Mindless Self Indulgence join the Main Stage on Reading’s Sunday and Leed’s Friday, while Jeffrey Lewis and former Black Flag frontman Henry Rollins will be on the alternative stage. Pete and the Pirates will be on the Radio 1/NME stage, and Tiger Army, The Briggs and Blackhole have been added to the lockup stage. The twin festivals take place on 22-24 August - tickets have already long sold out.
The Wax:On Live has been cancelled, citing the “credit crunch” as the cause. The festival was due to take place on 31 May. Ticket holders are advised to contact the place of purchase for a refund.

More details of Brazilian band Cansei de Ser Sexy’s second album Donkey have been revealed.
A free download of the song Rat Is Dead (Rage) can be found on their site. The album, released on 21 July, is the follow-up to 2006’s CSS. The band are headlining the Park Stage at this years Glastonbury Festival, as well as playing Reading and Leeds.

The world’s biggest bar band The Hold Steady have revealed the song Sequestered in Memphis on their MySpace. The song is taken from their forthcoming new album Stay Positive released in 14 July in the UK on independent label Rough Trade. The album is the follow-up to their critically acclaimed 2006 album Boys and Girls in America.

Pop-punk band Hit The Lights have revealed information about their 2nd album Skip School, Start Fights. The album will be released on 8 July and the album is the follow-up to 2006’s This Is a Stick Up… Don’t Make It a Murder. The album will be the first album since guitarist Nick Thompson took on vocal duties. The album art can be viewed at AbsolutePunk.net.
Experimental rock band The Mars Volta have announced a second date at London’s Roundhouse. The band are now playing the Roundhouse on 16-17 June, then Latitude on 19 June. Tickets are on sale now for both dates with a face value of £20.
Former Beach Boy Brian Wilson will release his first album in four years in September. The album That Lucky Old Sun is a concept album about his childhood. The album will be his first original material since 2004’s Gettin’ in Over My Head.
